Equestrian Themed Watch Fob # 15-469

This beautiful 14k yellow gold watch chain was produced around 1890 during the late Victorian and Edwardian Eras (1885-1910). During that period, clothing and jewelry became lighter and softer. Jewelry was highly influenced by Edward VII as many designs were reflections of his interests: racing motifs and good luck motifs. Wearing understated jewelry was in vogue and the embellishments were also small and discreet.

This particular watch chain uses straight heavy links leading to a horseshoe within a stirrup. The horseshoe contains a slight decorative embellishment.
