This beautiful 18k yellow gold sapphire and pearl ring is uniquely set in an ancient cross design.  The cultured pearl is surrounded by a brushed-gold setting containing 19 blue sapphires of varying sizes and shades. Pearls have been popular with women throughout the ages; they are always considered to be in good taste and can be worn for both formal and casual engagements.  Cultured pearls take 3 to 7 years to produce. Sapphires became popular in the 1860’s and have been designated as the birthstone for September.  They symbolize clear thinking.
