Garnet Ring # 12-419

This beautiful 14k yellow gold garnet ring is from the Late Victorian and Edwardian Eras (1885-1910).  During that period, clothing became lighter and softer. Jewelry also became lighter in scale often using flowers as motifs and garnets for embellishment. Garnets were said to empower the wearer with truth, constancy, and faith and have been designated as the birthstone for January babies.
