Amethyst Ring # 12-394

This beautiful 14k yellow gold filigree ring is embellished with a soft-colored amethyst stone. Filigree looks lacy and delicate but the pieces were die-struck with such force that it caused the metal to become denser and stronger. Amethysts were said to possess the power to protect the wearer and bring good luck. Named the birthstone for February, the amethyst has been plentiful and popular throughout the ages. Please note the broken braid in the final picture.  It is repairable.
