Tiffany Style Diamond Ring # 11-299

This beautiful 1920’s 14k yellow gold diamond ring is wonderfully unique while making use of a Tiffany-style setting. It was created using a 14K white gold setting with one 45 point round diamond set high on 6 prongs.

The 1920’s and 30’s ushered in the Art Deco period where popular motifs made use of geometric and abstract designs and a dramatic interplay of shimmering colors. Emeralds and diamonds were widely used as embellishments.

Diamonds have been coveted and used to embellish jewelry and accessories throughout the ages; the Greeks wore them into battle believing them to symbolize "inconquerability". Diamonds are the birthstone of April and are given to commemorate 10th, 30th, and 60th anniversaries. They symbolize innocence.

The script engraving is indiscernible.
